Thea Heaton, PA-C grew up in Boise and feels privileged to live, work, and play in this beautiful state. Thea has practiced in the Treasure Valley since 2003 in Family Practice and Neurology, before finding her home in Dermatology. She was extensively trained by Dr. Powell when she was hired at DCCC in 2012, and enjoys the challenges and diversity of this field. Thea is comfortable seeing a wide variety of acute and chronic skin diseases in adults and children. She is especially dedicated to the prevention, early detection, and treatment of melanoma and other skin cancers in her female-dominant practice. Thea is passionate about advocating for, educating, and offering compassionate care for her patients. 

Thea and her husband have two fantastic, young boys, and the four of them take every opportunity to traipse through the mountains of Idaho.
